Radix Pension Managers is a licensed Pension Fund Administrator (“PFA”) by the National Pension Commission (“PenCom”). On February 15, 2017, Radix Capital Partners Limited, a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) licensed investment banking firm acquired majority share interest in IGI Pension Managers Limited, a company previously owned by IGI Plc. Further to this acquisition, a new Board of Directors and executive management team was constituted to lead the company.

Job Summary
- Accountable for the accounting operations of the Company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with international financial reporting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee the operations of the Finance Department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations related to the pension funds
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances on the pension funds
- Oversee the preparation and publishing of timely monthly financial statements for all pension funds
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts of Pension funds ensuring that relevant accounting standards have been met
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Provide for a system of management cost reports
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the MD/CEO
Qualifications
- A minimum of First Degree or its equivalent in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines such as Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance, Insurance, and other related courses.
- A Master’s Degree from a reputable institution is highly recommended.
- An acceptable professional qualification from any relevant professional organization such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience of which at least 8 years must have been in the financial sector and 4 years in a supervisory role

Qualifications
- A minimum of First Degree or its equivalent in Numerate or Semi-numerate disciplines such as Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance, Insurance or other related courses
- An acceptable professional qualification from any relevant professional organization such as ACCA, ACCA, CFA, will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in the pension industry
- A strong technical accounting background, with financial reporting experience in IFRS
