Barcelona have been busy this summer transfer window, they’ve brought in few players to strengthen their squad in front of next season. Over the past weeks Barcelona were linked with Memphis Depay but today, it was officially announced that the Catalonias signed the Dutchman on a free transfer from the Ligue one side.
Memphis Depay was seen as one of the most productive players in France Ligue one, doing wonders for Lyon and his national team as well.

Memphis Depay will have to battle for his starting rights at Barcelona, it would definitely be tough one for Ronald koeman to decide his starting lineup. Players like Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Ousmane Dembele, Andy Fati and Philipe Coutinho are all top players it will be a tough call for Ronald koeman.
It was rumoured that Barcelona will offload few players this summer, if the rumours are true then Memphis Depay might appear in the starting lineup more often.
